Mongstad Refinery Debottlenecking
Capacity review against a 60% feed increase, then detailed engineering for debottlenecking: crude, vacuum, hydrocracker, hydrotreaters, delayed coker, and sulphur and tail gas plants (350 t/d).
Review of the actual refining capacity against a 60% feed increase, using process modelling and benchmarking of the major production units, with field test runs to guide the equipment rating checks.
CHR personnel also took part in the detailed engineering for debottlenecking and expansion of several units at the refinery: the crude unit, atmospheric distillation, vacuum unit, hydrocracker, naphtha-jet and gas oil hydrotreaters, delayed coker, sulphur and tail gas plants (350 t/d), gas recovery and amine gas sweetening units.
